Predictive Maintenance
A second set of eyes on vessel condition.
Mariners Log analyses machinery condition, maintenance history and operational data continuously. When a trend is developing, the platform surfaces it before it becomes a larger problem, along with a recommended action.
This is not a replacement for your engineers. It is a tool that helps them see more, act earlier and focus attention where it matters most.
How it works.
Vessel data
Mariners Log can use available machinery condition data, maintenance records, running hours and operational logs from across the vessel.
Changing trend
The platform identifies changing patterns in the data: vibration readings that are gradually increasing, oil analysis results moving outside normal range, or temperature trending higher than baseline.
Alert
When a developing condition meets a configurable threshold, an alert is generated and surfaced to the relevant engineer or technical manager. Alerts are designed to be clear, specific and relevant, helping teams focus on what needs attention.
Recommended action
Each alert includes a recommended investigation or action based on the condition type, machinery history and operational context. Your team reviews and decides.
Maintenance adjusted
Where appropriate, planned maintenance timing can be reviewed and adjusted to address the developing condition earlier, helping reduce the risk of escalation without creating unnecessary work.
Fuel, Energy and Performance
Use the data to operate more efficiently.
The same operational data that surfaces developing machinery issues also shows how the vessel is performing. Understand fuel consumption, battery performance and vessel behaviour to identify inefficient operating patterns and make better operational decisions.
Fuel consumption
Track fuel use, fuel per nautical mile and operating behaviour.
Battery performance
Monitor battery consumption, state of charge, charging and discharge patterns.
Voyage comparison
Compare routes, vessels and operating profiles.
Practical insights
Turn energy and vessel-performance data into useful operational recommendations.
